The Friends of Halfway African American Cemetery was incorporated in 2023, to preserve this historic black cemetery in Hagerstown, MD. We do physical work to restore and maintain the cemetery, we raise funds for caretaking and improvements, and we research and share its history. We have a dedicated Board of Directors and many hardworking volunteers.
